Co Ed Nude Philosophy by Will Forest

Now, at this point, a little "suspension of disbelief" is demanded. Ross isn't fired, suspended or punished because of this behavior (or stunt), as would reasonably be expected. He gets away with it because he's a well-respected and accomplished professor in his field of work. In addition, the philosophy department is in danger of being removed because of low enrollment, but once word gets around about his naked class, pupils begin clamoring to register. So he's allowed to continue.

While some elements of the narrative might seem unrealistic, readers may be surprised to discover which ones are based on actual occasions. In one instance, an individual is forced to censor a replica of the David statue. The statue, located on his storefront yard, receives numerous complaints. This is the situation in an identical event that took place several years ago in the U.S.

As of this school, every aspect of a pupil's life, from gym class to school concerts, is conducted in the nude.

The results represent actual research findings on the subject of the positive effects that naturism has on kids. The school, founded in 1921, still exists now, but regrettably no longer has the social nudity facet.

Needless to say there are opponents to public nudity (the narrative would not be complete without them). Every once in a while they'd arrive to read from the Bible and publicly scorn the bare sinners. The scenes are rather funny because we know such people do exist, some of which believe that going to a naked beach is a grave sin.

The narrative continues with more emotional truths scattered throughout. In the discussion of the naked school, this issue of pedophilia comes up as a possible danger for the children. Angela says, "We Are not accustomed to thinking about kids and nudity that manner, because our society has conditioned us to make the pedophile connection automatically.

How could not we think of it, when the only circumstance for nudity and kids that is ever presented in the media is pedophilia?" Anybody running a naturist youth camp for children understands this to be true! In fact, due to the heightened susceptibility of naturist resort goers, children are probably safer at a naturist resort than they would be at textile camps.

Overall, I would say this novel touts all the normal benefits and arguments given in favor of nudism and social nudity: body approval, physical relaxation, greater mind-body link, to name a few. In addition, it refutes the usual misconceptions folks use against it: that it's bad for children, that nudity constantly equals sex, the body is obscene, disgusting, shameful, and many more.

Nudity is examined and researched in numerous circumstances, from naked beaches to schools to strip clubs. The novel definitely does its job in summarizing the naturist philosophy in relation to the human body. The chief criticism I have is that its story-line might be a bit poor to keep particular readers engaged. It is full of lots of self-serving inner dialogue, to be able to get across a great number of of the core issues that pertain to social nudity. This novel does, however, offer a new method of looking at various aspects of social nudity along with a glance of what a body-positive world might look like!
